You made me dinner
And stayed,
You made me breakfast
And left.

Between the meals things we feel
Spoken or not, never forgot,
Will the dreamlike of that real
With no sleep forever keep
Between the drinks we didn’t spill

You offer me white wine
Toasting me
You gave me black coffee
Leaving me

Lotus Breeze...

I like the poem...but, I sure do like the juxtapositioning of the verses a lot more. It makes it feel like a story within a story. Wow...thank you.
