I could not see my path, it was so dark.
Felt it only with the soles of my feet
when I drifted from side to side,
and wondered if there was hope for me...

My fearful steps stumbled me away
from the other world I had created,
which begged me not to leave.
Please get me to the other side,
I prayed, the other side of hide...

What I want is who I am, a part of the collect.
Awake my consciousness, make me whole...
Surrender!
I accept.

The Sun is reborn out of darkness now
The Light of Life and Love does shine.
I dance upon my brightened path
and know I’m not alone...
I know that I am home.

This piece is pure magic!
I especially love the above lines.

I felt like you were writing my life story,
and yes, it's nice to know we're not alone.

Thank you for this meaningful poem,
and for leaving me with so many good thoughts.

Merry Christmas to you, Kahlil~
