Through shuttered windows I looked upon
sparkling snowflakes falling from opalescent sky.
And in the distance stood a silent fawn,
through shuttered windows I looked upon.
The golden rays of morn's early dawn
danced their light on flurries swirling by.
Through shuttered windows I looked upon
sparkling snowflakes falling from opalescent sky.

This is beautiful, Earth Angel!  From the fawn, to the golden rays, to the delicate slowflakes, you captured the imagery brilliantly here. Very much enjoyed this!

Best wishes,

Linda Lou this is soooo pretty!!
I could see that sky and the little fawn.
Just beautiful, my friend...and in one of my
two favorite forms of poetry, too!!
It's a keeper for sure!!

lil' Angel ~

I thought I'd try my hand at writing a Triolet.  I have been enjoying the ones that other poets have recently been posting. It's fun to stretch my wings ~ poetically speaking! lol

Mr. T. ~

I do believe that you are correct in your assumption! The fawn's nose was distinctly bulbous and was glowing red! lol
