Mist

She floats within my heart in bliss
Through the parting of a kiss
In courtship of her snips and quips
Warm upon my tender lips

She lights my sky with puffs of bright
With clouds that run in scoff delight
Blues and hues of emerald green
With chariots of gold between

She fans me with desires breath
If she don’t stop twill be my death
My heart does run in rapped beat
And then again in wrapped repeat

I cannot stand the strain much more
I’ve pulled too long this ship of oar
And though I quell this pleasures dwell
I’m sure my heart will burst in swell

So fan me slow my butterfly
I do not wish right now to die.

Oh dear Seymour, you are a whirlwind of passion. Sit and breathe and the let the heart relax. But I would say this is POSITIVE stress!
So lovely!
Love and hugs. Margherita

Perhaps the name of Don Q.  or Sly Sy...
or some other charmingly romantic name
for a dastardly scoundrel to have and

Good after-Thanksgiving-Day, morning! How's your tummy faring? ~ I do know that your poetic mind is in fine working order!!!

You write of love and beauty with the grace of Venus and the passion of Apollo! ~ and fill your readers with Jupiterian joy!

Warm hugs on a wet, cold Ontarian morning!

Seymour, ooooh, what a beautiful, sensual write this morning. Just what I needed as it is a rainy, grey day here in Ontario Canada. This write has warmed my senses. Time for a second cup of Enchatress's tea and maybe a little bite of butter tart! hugs, Chris

Seymour
Catching up on some missed poems, saw this and it reminded me of Shelly, perhaps a little Byron thrown in for flavor..
enjoyed reading it...
