i wouldn't cross the ocean
would never grow a tree
wouldn't share my pillow
or renounce my cup of tea

wouldn't change the way i look
or the things i do
would never walk more than an inch
just to get to you

i wouldn't paint the sky
be there whenever you call
i could bring you a sandwich
but that might be all

I can understand a lot of that. Not changing for someone else. But, I don't get the grow a tree thing. And, "would never walk more than an inch"? Now that might be pushing it just a little bit; everyone has to give a LITTLE bit. lol

But a sandwich would really be nice. I am kind of hungry.
