Making Love

I just wish that I could tell him all the feelings deep inside
I don’t want to hold back anything, or let discretion hide
All the wondrous new beginnings, all the beauty that I see
Shining through the eyes that never knew the love inside of me

She will never need to tell me of the deepness of her love
For she shows me in her loving just what she is thinking of
And I know that I’m the one for her, but she prefers to show
In the way that she caresses me, what I already know

How I wish that I could say the words that linger in my heart
How his love has given me new life, and life a brand new start
But I can’t express my feelings. I don’t know where to begin
He is everything I want and every want that dwells within

There’s no need for words between us when our love is so divine
That the meaning she conveys has paused the earth in endless time
She has subtle ways of showing all her love and her desires
She’s a woman who portrays her mind in heat of midnight fires

There’s no manner of expressing how much love my heart can hold
I would like to tell him inner thoughts that somehow I withhold

Little sighs of pleasure, sweetest sounds I ever heard
And when we're making love, there is no need to say a word

This was lovely, Liz!  I enjoyed the perspective that moved back and forth between the man and woman in this piece. Very nicely done. Much enjoyed the feelings this portrayed!

Best wishes and hugs,
/Kit

Liz,  this poem caught me off guard a little
at first...but not for long... You captured
those moments well...  But,  who would ever
expect less from you...certainly not I...

It is snowing and windy
This morning,
Here in these mountains,
But waking up to this has warmed me up....:-)

A beautiful interaction between Yin and Yang....love it
