Icyflamez89 challenged to write in another language and translate the poem in English.
This one is in Dutch naturally

Ik zat in huis en keek naar buiten
de lucht was gevuld met een vreemd licht
Ik trok mijn jas aan want oranje wolken
roept iets op waar ik altijd voor zwicht

One afternoon I looked through the window
The sky was filled with such a strange glow
I put on my coat, because orange clouds
Aroused this feeling, I was missing a show

En wat ik zag overtrof mijn verwachting
heel klein werd ik één met de natuur
De zon omarmde de gehele aarde
in het oranje licht van vuur

And what I saw surpassed all expectations
As a small part of nature it let me admire
The sun, embracing the whole earth horizon
In that orange light of fire

I came to where my sheep were grazing
They had no compassion and bleated loud "WHY"
"Why did you come without bringing us food"
"No idea" I said, I just followed an orange sky

Like scattered leaves...my words will flow

This is beautiful.....just beautiful.....
Lauren~

I had a dream last night
you came to me on silver wings of light
I flew away with you in painted sky
Was it real
Is it what you see, touch or feel

Titia, I loved this... the poem
and the pictures.
I've got a lot of clouds and sunset
pictures taken since I got my digital
camera a month or so ago. This is the link
to where I have some of them, if you'd like
to look at some Florida sunsets and clouds.
Thanks for sharing with us.
Hugs
Ethel

Dear Titia, this is gorgeous!
Intuitively I understand some written Dutch, as my mother tongue is German.
Beautiful pictures too!
Great!

"I came to where my sheep were grazing
They had no compassion and bleated loud "WHY"
"Why did you come without bringing us food"
"No idea" I said, I just followed an orange sky"

This verse sums up completely why I love your poetry so much. It is so simple and wholesome, filled with the beauty and innocence known only to the honest and decent. It's wonderful writing, Titia

I can write a poem in Dutch, too!

Knuffel! Knuffel!
Knuffel, knuffel, Knuffel
Knuffel? Knuffel?
Knuffel!!!!!!

Thank you!!!

Thanks friends for your loving answers.

Ethel, I looked and got homesick instantly to those beautiful skies and sunsets of Florida. How I wish I could walk along the beach again. I just love the sea.

Balladeer, Bravo you've spelled every word right!
A poem written in Dutch by you is, of course, a keeper
