fingers four walk dawdling
I concede and milk the feed
of internal plot of me
ain't there yet
I lose regret
walking
spot to spot
in street

head down
contemplating cracks
how absurd it all must be
still I tred them carefully--
m'mama's back, already bent.

Take the yoke of my badthinks--
I'll learn to walk "the walk" upright.

Listen
I hear rustling
leaves on branches
tickle me
listen to the smell of free--

"Storms are on the way," she thinks
and pulls her collar closed.

(big hugggsssssss) Yay! Oh Karen, I love the storm in this, sweet friend, doesn't sound like it's worth it to run away but much more worth embracing the storm, yay, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Karen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

You brought my mind to the carefully stepped freedoms that we all take for granted...when in our minds we might be captive.
Great Write.

Karen...I avoided those crakes for a long time, and then I realized my mother was gone.  Strange, the things that we believe we have control over.  Wonderful writing, as always!  Hugs!

big heart hugs and thanks, especially Martie, for listening to my rambles.

This was inspired in part by some stormy weather, and by a loved one's insistance on dying.

Martie? You are so right my friend. Life or death--it's a gift for that to be a conscious decision.

Thank you all, and yes, most especially Martie, for her wisdom. thank you

Look out, look in. It's a balance and we need honesty and clarity to do either.

"Art is the way to the absolute and to the essence of human life. The aim of art is not the one-sided promotion of spirit, souls, and senses, but the opening of all human capacities -- thought, feeling, will -- to the life rhythm of the world of nature. So will the voiceless voice be heard and the self brought into harmony with it. Artistic skill, therefore, does not mean artistic perfection. It remains rather a continuing medium of reflection of some step in psychic development, the perfection of which is not to be found in shape or form, but must radiate from the human soul."

The Tao of Jeet Kune Do, by Bruce Lee

"we all shine on..."

Instant Karma, by John Lennon

Thanks again all, for reading.

Special people, all of you.
