He sees things nobody else can see
He hears things I've never voiced
He speaks words straight from my heart
He knows me
A few short words can make a day
A few pleasantries and a bit of play
Wash away years of pain
And for the first time I feel sane
He sees things only he can
He hears things I only think
He speaks the words i've longed to hear
He knows the "real" me
With my life in shadow, he was to me
A lighthouse on the sounding sea
He gave me light and made me see
What my life could truely be
He sees right through my facade
He hears right through my lies
He speaks the truth no one could know
He knows the inner me
A brightness has broken up the night
He showed me the way and made me see the light
He showed me i could still trust my heart
And true love, could never really part
I can only thank him for showing me the way
That the true path to happiness was to stay
I believe life has it's reasons for pulling two together
A friendship that could last forever
