Thankful Thinking

Last night
my dreams led me to thinking
of all I'm thankful for.

Each new day that I share
with my sister,
is one more than before.

Each time I  feel the words
of friends that give me
lift-up-days

I thank you all
for meanings true
in everything you say.

Each time I wonder
why "it" is and when
"it" will be right

I am thankful for the patience
that keeps others
in my sight.

With arms
that cannot reach around
to show my thankfulness

these words, I hope,
will send to each
the feelings I possess.

Wishing everyone
a wonderful Day of Thanks

M
