Only when the moon
pours between their
hollowed spaces, can you
hear their aching cries
to be heard, in the approach
of the most wicked of
seasons,

I stand with them, in stillness,
forsaken, with or without
a hint of moonlight,
as you have made me
weak, like none such other,

I would stand for you,
eternally, a shadow of the
girl i used to be,if only
to reunite with you just
one more time, on this
midnight's illumination of
the winter trees.

I like this very much. It shows a side of you that you often hide, and it's a very beautiful side.

Michele, I love the romantic way you write about trees.
It's so beautiful. Yes, you do paint beautiful
pictures with your words.

as Autumn leaves (LEFT), snow flies
the ground, covered in solitude and
you lie . . in wait . . . of the first
ray of sun . . smiling . . . only for you
