He touched her words on the screen,
of her lover's kiss,
hands entwined,
for she knew not how...

His heart tensed for a second,
then relaxing, tears began to fall,
from his lazy eye,
the one that cries.

She knew of it all too well,
but he didnt know now why it weeped.

He didn't know her,
he could barely remember her face.

It seemed his heart had it's own memory,
of something it could not let go of.

The tears wouldn't stop, though no images filled his mind,
Her face was now clouded, but his heart couldn't tell time.

I love that. This was quite nicely done. I'm impressed!

Love your name, too lol

"from his lazy eye,
the one that cries"

Such an eloquent way to set up the image of one trying one's best to keep a "stiff upper lip", yet failing.

Liked your close, too.

I had a dream last night
you came to me on silver wings of light
I flew away with you in painted sky
Was it real
Is it what you see, touch or feel

Steve- No stiff upper lip, my right eye is the one that cries for some reason and at times like this it does, though I dont seem to know why. She once suggested I get a tear tattoo'd in the corner of it.

Greeneyes- Im afraid I don't know where she is. She dissapeared and cut off contact with me 3 years ago when a friend of ours died. I havent heard from her since, all letters and emails went unreplied. She got me started writing, she was/maybe is my muse. I post at Spyder's Poetry Empire and Poetry.com, places where she has written before. I don't know if she has or ever will read "my words"
