+*+*+*+*+

I bring my bottle with me,
Wherever I may go.
It's filled with juice of lemons,
And clear spring H 2 0.

It cleanses inner body,
And fills me up with C.
It replaces lost potassium,
And boosts my energy.

There's nothing just quite like it,
To quench a raging thirst.
So skip your beers and sodas,
~ Try some lemon water first!

and have zERo lemon....but lots of water..

Just added lemons to the grocery list!

EA, I said it before, I'll say it again...your meter is perfect, always perfect.

So, if you suggest lemons, I will make lemonade, lemon water, and lemon pie in hope that in addition to the virtues extolled in your poem, lemons will also help me construct better meter! (Smiling at you)

You are such an inspiration to me, Linda.  I want to thank you for your replies to my posts...your words inspire me to grow in my writing.

Thank you!

Dixie, try it! ~ You'll like it!

You may not like yours as tart as I like mine. You may have to work your way up to the hard stuff! lol

Patricia ~

...I just saved your up-lifting and generous reply to a special file I have! Thank you for your kind words, Kind One!

The poem I wrote prior to this one is called County Claire. When I posted it, your daughter Chelsea came to mind and I thought that she would like that one! She has given me many smiles by her responses to my poetry. I think of her often when I am writing for children her age.

Loving hugs to you and your daughters.

Blessings for a joyful and memorable Thanksgiving Day!

You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Linda, thank you for sharing!

Loved the poem!

Noah ~

I'm always being teased about my ever-present bottles of the lemon water that I make up! I just received an invitation to a Christmas party and the hostess suggested that I dress up my bottle for the occasion! lol

Christmas is almost here, Dear Mistletoe Angel!

Happy hugs,

Alyssa, enjoy! Drink up! Be happy!

Thanks for dropping by!

P.S. Remember to not drink lemonade and drive. That 3% lemons lemonade could be lethal! lol
