Difficult to explain, this
which keeps me away,
separate from my friends
and from my muse
for such long spaces
in time that all
at once races by
yet stands unmoving
I’m still in denial
but hurry to do things
which must be done
before I can no longer
manage to do them

That is my whirlwind

Sometimes, though
I sit and read
drops of tears and
splashes of laughter
of the poets whom appear
on my screen
Unable to stay for long,
replies are hard to make
but I know you all…
I see your triumphs
your joys, your wishes

Time stops for a little while

I also have a wish
or two…
that you remember
I am still here
so proud to read
the works of poets
I have loved for years,
and that someday
doctors find out that
chicken soup
really is the cure
for everything.

Caroline...
when Ron does the next name sweep...?
Methinks
you need to revert to Caroline...
for you are not the icequeen
you think you are...

How I too wish for this...
and that you would visit us more often.

LOL at that soup remedy.
Good to see you here! But don't you know, it's really poetic friendship that heals all?

Yeah, it would be nice to know the cure-all for sickness and sadness. That'd be great if it was as simple as soup! Alas, I believe it is more.

You are remembered.

Karilea, now you know why your Visualizations mean so much to me   I might think about the name sweep - but it is only here I let myself melt. Stiff upper lip, you know lol

Barry - thank you.. it is good to see you again and to read your words

Nancy - thank you - I hope I can spend more time here. With inspiration such as I am getting tonight hope I will have better things to post

K- LOL  I think chicken soup is good for everything. I love to make it from scratch, hours and hours of that wonderful smell in the house, along with fresh baked bread. So whenever I have energy, I grab a chicken and drown in LOL   Good to see you again!
