Where are you
When the crave of you can not be
sated by mere thought.  For I hunger
endlessly in the pit of me.   The
growl of my cords resonating in my
ears as I strain to hear the melody of
our song.

Where are you
when storms blow upon the desert plain, as dust
chokes the life of me, as empty hands grasp
the hour glass, now filled....waiting.

Centuries have shaded my still form.  A
thousand moons have set beyond the hills of
remember.   Yet, my memory darkens, as
energies fade into the final ripple against
life’s soul.

Where will I be
without you there, standing tall among the roses
of my garden.  I have watered your roots, yet
petals fall endlessly...  Will we survive?

I fail to see
for the maze eludes me...confuses
me...and yet, I walk on...looking, waiting...
watching for yet another ripple on life’s lake,
that we might again bathe the pebbles smooth
within the chilled waters as my breath is
taken away....by you.

Magnus my dear friend, this is wonderful. Sighing here.   Have a Happy Turkey Day! We Canadians have already celebrated ours. Never could understand why the US of A and Canada couldn't celebrate on the same date. I mean....turkey is turkey, no matter what side of the border you're on....right? Hee hee...rambling again....I know....I know. Hugs, Chris

beautifully written, expressed and felt by the reader, yet, fear not my friend, for the rippled End becomes great beginnings...she is there with you, in thoughts words and deeds, she is part of your most intimate and inner being.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Magnus~

What a joy to read this on this bright sunny morn~

'Where are you
When the crave of you can not be
sated by mere thought'

Yes, it held a touch of sadness ...
but so delicately expressed~

Happy Holiday to you and yours, my friend~

You bring so many thoughts to mind,
and write with such a tender pen.
So good to read your words tonight~

Happy Thanksgiving Barry~
