Embarrassing Moments

As a little girl I was told never be rude to your elders.
While playing in the yard one day-
this elderly lady came over to converse with me.
To my unexpected surprise, to potty I did NEED to go.
Later into the house I did run-
wet shoes, wet socks, but I was not rude.
This is called one of life’s embarrassing moments.
In high schoolin my English class,
the teacher was speaking of Oliver Twist.
That's when I began to twitch and itch.
In a voice sweet and low
I turned to my friend Tony and said “I’m getting the measles!”
“measles!”He shouts to the class with glee, as he pushs away from me.
This is called one of life’s embarrassing moments.
One sun shining day my son and I go for a drive.
Cruising down the road in my rusty Pontiac,
driving along beside us is a pink Cadillac.
The driver has silky long blond hair
and my son turns and stares.
Suddenly my son turns to me
Hey Ma! Is that a boy or girl?”
This driver turns and glares my way
for his beardis long and silky gray.
This is called one of life’s embarrassing moments.
One sun shining day my son and I take a little trip.
It was the year of wearing wigs upon your uncombed hair.
We are in a crowd of several, friends, kids and family.
My loving son decides to pull one of his ornery tricks-
“I think I’ll pull off that wig just for fun, then I’d better run.”
This is calledone of life’s embarrassing moments.
Still in the year of the wig
One day on a very windy corner, off goes the wig.
But since I’m fast on my feet I catch it on the fly
turn to the kid and give him a high-five.
Now that my son is grown
I tell his friends of these childhood episodes.
Now It’s his life’s most
Embarrassing Moment.

Enjoy
Love Bon-Bon

Too cute.  Revenge of that kind
is quite natural!

LMAO Sometimes when you look back on things they can be funny.

Cold hands means a warm heart
