I try to clear a
cluttered mind

Memories pratfalls,
anxieties tripwire

I need my ears to breathe

the pure air of violin’s
call to the sky,
wisped clouds

My eyes to swim

in bull fiddle’s
fluid sea,
bottomless assurance

and through my mouth

invite the cello’s
rumblings
to my chest

Plaintive, poignant,

I don’t run from these
but embrace them like a sigh

or the subtle suppression
of the mouth drawn breath
we know in public places
when touched by visual art,

emotion overflowing
the container of our being,

a storm the heart conducts

God Richard it is so good to read your words again, it's like a breath of spring in the middle of a dreary day.  I knew when I clicked that I would not be disapointed...
I was right.

It's better than I could have planned..
it's made me who I am...

Great lines, and we should all try to seize that moment in time that causes us to sigh.  Liked this one Richard.

Loving coincidences, my radio
was playing a lovely melody
filled with violins...

which made this a very enjoyable read.
