Of leaves and Sleeves I stay within a valley’s bliss Flown to it upon a Kiss And there I pick the daisies leaves And wipe my tears upon my sleeves. I watch the flowers turn the sun And wish with them that I were one To mirror beauty of the sky To be the wonders hew and lie The trees that dance and twist in awe Sink within my mind of store And whisper me a magic tune That brings me to the near of swoon It’s then my fantasies do stray To stay the wonders of the day And spirits dine in covert mood To eat upon this feast of food I washed my soul within this bliss And all was given in the kiss |

Hi and Good Morning Sy, This was a soft and loving read, gentle as the poet, filled with wisdom...especially liking the following: The trees that dance and twist in awe Sink within my mind of store And whisper me a magic tune That brings me to the near of swoon lovely rhyme how are you doing? Missed you all and your poetry yesterday, then found this site, #30 Sy, I was wondering, since I've been posting here, there was a forum #27, then forum #28, now both of which I believe are no longer available, then forum #29, which hardly anyone was posting in yesterday? Awww shuckums, Mr. T.! That sure was a honey-sweet thing for you to say! ~ and yes, we do celebrate Thanksgiving! Afterall, there is soooooo much to be thankful for! ~ even when everything seems topsy turvy at times! However, we Canadian "angels" celebrate Thanksgiving on October 13 th. Actually, that is the Monday holiday. Most of us celebrate it on the Sunday. Our weekly day of thanks giving! Have a glorious Thanksgiving with your loved ones! ~ and please save me a little slice of Isabel's homemade pie!  EA |
