Arrogance, lies, and pretense of pleasure
Drowning secrets, burying treasure
Granting my personal authority
To those who claim to own a piece of me
What do they see in this dead end thread
Of existence, just below coma

The Boss and His angels were out on patrol
Protecting, serving, trying to gain control
Of the ills and woes of many of those
Who were lost and staggering
Trying to find home
Out there, just below coma

He shined His light into my unfortunate nest
He said he had come to grant me a rest
When the truth was revealed
I began to heal
From the darkness
Just below coma.

Yes, by this write of Light, I'd definitely say you are healing and coming out from "Just Below Coma". ~ and that's a very good thing to see, my friend!

Spiritually uplifting,I'm not sure of the circumstances that inspired it but know it inspired me.

have wondered the same at times..but it's really a cherished treasure to know that they love us as best they know.

Wonderfully written

I agree, LeeJ.  And sometimes we have to make sure we're not giving ourselves away to the extent that we are "just" dead-end threads.  Thanks for your comments.  ~K~
