If I imagine you the moon tonight, would you meet me, shadowed, in the clear? And if the wind were to borrow from your very breath, would you whisper some sweet secrets in my ear? I've imagined this, often, and a thousand times Like a heathen, I would dance a thousand more. But before your shadows keep me, this I must confess I wish the sun to slumber, all the more. |
