Go softly," spirit said,
"For this is real, and she

And so I held her gently,
Woke her spirit carefully
As a man can do, held her
Then until she stayed
Without the holding,
Gave her loving while
She gave me love,
And then gave love
To match her loving,
Answered yes into
The question of her eyes,
Gave yes to all of her,
As she gave me a share
Of heaven in return.
