I look up and see half a sky half my harbor I have bound myself to this lined cliff-face willingly or not but these iron bands keep me safe against the real hard cold rock oh they BITE but they are familiar yes and then a voice sings from the air about saying trust and I yearn strain resenting the bindings I made... I crack them and slowly fall down and away from the face of old castoff bitterness and float no FLY to the light that made the shadow of my charade dance on the rock behind my bound form falling into your sun as a key unlocking all the treasures within |
