My Eyes have seen

My eyes have seen the glory dream
Mortar and pestle ground to seem
A piecrust made of mud and dust
Filled with rust of wanderlust

Cooked with spicy spirits dare
Under desires flame of flair
Phantoms bringing fantasy
To butter my bread with ecstasy

Ecstasy ground from agony
A step away from blasphemy
Stolen from epiphany’s chest
Epitome to a wave of bless

Do I cut the pie too thin?
Would you say I do a sin?
Is my soul not free to choose?
What I say, am I to loose?

I slowly peel the dust to be
Give me dreams or liberty.

I don't think you cut the pie too thin, dear Sy... You just keep on cutting away...

I like this very much, at least the rhyme and way it reads.  Some phrase I not understand full, but liberty is a dear emotion to me

We need to believe in our dreams of glory ... even if at times they do not manifest.

I am certain that by this time....the pie is
an empty plate without crumbs...  But that is
okay....keeping my Colesterol in check (NOT!)

I think you shall have plenty of dreams to
keep your plate filled with delicious pie..
