remember me in shades of green and the tie-dyed shapes you photographed remember my toes and dancer feet remember my eyes, you called them gems remember my voice, broken but beautiful i sang you to sleep sometimes remember the coffee in my sugar remember the languages we knew and the multphonics we spoke in remember the late-night scribblings and the spontaneous embraces remember the stories we created just to tell when we were through remember my hands, they were so small but you held them when i cried remember this, my love for you but dont remember me joy has its own justice. and dreams are languid and lawless. and everything bows to beauty, when it's fierce and when it's flawless... |
