 Va-Va-Vroom By: Noah Eaton 11/21/03 Well I’m rollin’ down the highway in a hunk of tin Sailin’ this silver pony into the sunset like a bison Got me my radio to keep me company In just 5.2 seconds you’ll see me go from zero to sixty Nowhere in particular is where I'm headin' Cuz the world is my playground that I keep livin' I've got me a bumper sticker that says "How's My Honky-Tonkin'?" So drop me a line, sometime, you dixie vixen Va-va-vroom, va-va-vroom Cruisin' in this '72 Chevrolet Chevelle Coupe Crossin' county lines like kudzu vines I'm a cowboy by day and a rebel by night I'm a-stayin' off those city highways now Let me at 'em in this six-lane showdown Travellin' on the right side of the road each day through Va-Va-Vroom  From here on it's all high cotton But to me it don't mean nothin' Cuz there's no locks on doors at the Waffle House And those buzzin' yellow signs are keepin' me aroused Cuz I love the greetin's when I come on in The omelette's a-tossin' and the jukebox is soothin' And I love to boast of the raisins in my toast Scattered, smothered and covered's the way I like it the most Va-va-vroom, va-va-vroom Cruisin' in this '72 Chevrolet Chevelle Coupe Crossin' county lines like kudzu vines I'm a cowboy by day and a rebel by night I'm a-stayin' off those city highways now Let me at 'em in this six-lane showdown Travellin' on the right side of the road each day through Va-Va-Vroom I've got my Royal Crown Cola in my cupholder armrest My dashboard's my cockpit, the shotgun's open to every lucky guest And I never even think about resettin' the odometer Cuz I never wile away a mile without lookin' back on the marker I'm a spring chicken on a wild goose chase Leapin' the speed bumps down the ol' interstate There's no physician like the ignition Cuz I'm always followin' my intuition on this ongoin' expedition Va-va-vroom, va-va-vroom Cruisin' in this '72 Chevrolet Chevelle Coupe Crossin' county lines like kudzu vines I'm a cowboy by day and a rebel by night I'm a-stayin' off those city highways now Let me at 'em in this six-lane showdown Travellin' on the right side of the road each day through Va-Va-Vroom Va-va-vroom, va-va-vroom Cruisin' in this '72 Chevrolet Chevelle Coupe Crossin' county lines like kudzu vines I'm a cowboy by day and a rebel by night I'm a-stayin' off those city highways now Let me at 'em in this six-lane showdown Travellin' on the right side of the road each day through Va-Va-Vroom   I don't need no proof when it comes to God and truth I can see the sun set and I perceive ***Live*** [This message has been edited by Mistletoe Angel (11-22-2003 02:40 AM).] |

I can hear the beat to a song. I love a car called Chevy SS. I can't remember if it's 70, 71, or 72, but I love the memories this brought back of the red Chevy SS with the wide white stripes I saw once when I was young. I rode in it once. I wish I had one.
