Faith was stronger than both of them.
It took him years to see,
It took him years to just begin to comprehend
that he never would even begin to understand.

In that time perhaps she thought she was paying for how she had treated him. It was pain he bore in advance for what he would have to go through to see her love. It was time to test if it was for real. It was time to test if they would love anyone else. It was time for their questions to be answered. It was a time of much learning. It was beautiful and it was sad, it was love they neither knew the other had, muchless knew THEY had. Perhaps it was a story
so common in other's lives, that has just never been told. Twether rarer or common, it was a love that held them.

Balance was needed, they both had shame.
They both had endured more than their fare share of pain.

She was justice,
he was blind,
she is the judge
of whenever it is time.

Sometimes romantic,
sometimes vain,
love had united
their Faith,
a Flame.

and for you I'll always sing...
