No moonlight, no stars,
no wavesounds, no frail leafsong;
the night's lace unmarred.

No moonlight, no stars,
no wavesounds, no frail leafsong;
the night's lace unmarred.

~ The stillness in the depths of darkest night with nary a sight nor sound. I can see and hear the nothingness...

ratleader,
  This is absolutely beautiful!  It brings me back to moments with my dad.  As a youngster, he taught me how to clear my head by closing my eyes and imagining total darkness and silence in my head.  Now that you've brought it to my attention, darkness and silence are kinda lacy--that little extra to add the beauty to an item.   You have such good perspective on things!
   BTW, thanks for commenting on my last post about the My little office, or whatever it was called.   After checking in this a.m.,
I re-read it and revised it quite a bit.  I'd appreciate any tips you can give me.
   Thanks again for your thought provoking words.

Stretched across the night in sigh
Unstroked by glitter~

Yum! I'll take it!

I've just been on the down side of things lately, having some things not go my way and letting that blot out the thought of other things that have gone very much my way here.... and the downers have been winning that tug-of-war....

Love the title. The first thing that came to mind was Midnight Lace, candles and soft music.
Good one.RL.
Love Bon-Bon

PS, If you get a chance read "Power Moguls" you may find it interesting.
