My Pledge

How many times can you say "I love you"
  Capture the splendor deep inside
Say those words what does it cost you
Are you giving up some kind of pride

When you remark on nature's beauty
Are you aware that you play a part
All the colors in the rainbow
Lay the foundation of the dreamers heart

When you see the butterfly linger
Tasting dew in the morning sun
Capture the spendor of the moment
Before the tasting is all done

When you hold me soft and close
And your silence speaks in beat
When greater gifts are not mine to give
And you are feeling lost and weak

When the moon and sun are not enough
And other souls have lost their way
I will comfort you in silence
Yes, I'll be there and there I'll stay

How very beautiful..a statement of unconditional love.
Very much enjoyed this piece.

~ So much depth to your words. The above are my favorite--of several!--lines.

A beautiful poem of enduring love.

A very beautiful pledge of comfort and
commitment...perhaps a wedding vow lingering
to be spoken...
