Rome my Rome;
Conquer all,
and call it home.

In Sicily,
There is divinity.
Which was not concealed
Within a dome.

Ancient gods
Carved out in stone,
To grace the palace,
Temple, and throne.

Your arteries bring you trade.
Dug out with dust, sweat, Spade.
Cobbled stones upon they prayed.

Vast nations claimed you home,
Do they lament the crumbling stone?
Another statistic, another tome
They can not lament my Rome.

Neither night nor day can give me purchase only purged dust on earth can avenge the worthless.
