Imperfection follows me
I long to be
I seek to see

I wish to walk with you
not knowing
fear peeking through
in drifts of knowledge
flurries of unknown

I stumble on
hoping for your hand
to warm me,
balance me,
introduce me,
to what it is I seek
to see

Sweep the hair from my face
with gentle finger
finding touch of lace
I hide so well
hold me in the love
of winters embrace

"if you won't let me fall for you
then you won't see the best that I would love to do for you"

Dear Susan

If you long to be
And seek to see
Then perfection
Is what ye'll be!

throughout all the winters of your life!

Warm, loving hugs,

you reached right in my head and turned on the light inside
turned on the light in my mind.

I loved the imagery in this, the sweeping away of the hair....
beautifully written longing.
