Her morning routine is not like yours.
No hot coffee with toast and jam.
The bed she sleeps in is a pile of rags,
her bathroom, a nearby garbage can.

She is a stranger, but she is also your sister.
And when you turn your back and walk away
with chin and nose in air and say
"I am not her keeper!"

you are right.

You are not her keeper.
But what if you
were meant to be
her personal saviour?

Thank you, ladies.
I know this may be a tough one for many to swallow.

I had a dream last night
you came to me on silver wings of light
I flew away with you in painted sky
Was it real
Is it what you see, touch or feel

Ok I have a
story to go along with this:

mann Kacy this dug deep ok here goes:

My sisters house burned down and they
had no place to live, no insurance, right
after Christmas and right after she was
married so they lost everything . . .
was horrible
they lived with my husband and I
at the time
about three months before that
my husband and I were having very
difficult financial times . . .
we were at church and I dont know why
but I said . . . lets empty our pockets
into this St Vincent De Paul Charity
Box (in the church, we were the
only ones there . . we didnt come for
mass, we just . . went)

The first people to show up at MY door
for help with my sister was . . .

yep . . . sure was
(brought tears to my eyes for we surely
got back much more than we gave)
sooo . . you never do know

Thank you Kacy
xxoo

Sue, thank you for sharing that story. It's awful to lose everything. She was fortunate to have had you for a sister.
And it's true, when you give, you never know when or how...just that it will come back to you or yours eventually.
