Sitting on the beach waiting
for the sun to rise,
the thoughts of you entered
my mind with a smile.

Remembering the laughter,fun
we two shared.

As the sun begins to rise so
do the tears in my eyes.

Upon rising I slowly put the
memories of time together away
for another day.

Walking away and wishing it was...
still yesterday.

Hi mean and green. Mmm now how did this one get so far away down the page before I noticed it? LOL! Love it froggy. Well done.

"Walking away and wishing it was...
still yesterday."

~ I believe that I do understand. I have been there and I know how that feels. I, like yourself, treasure the gifts of the good memories and enjoy them every now and then. With the passing of time, the ache inside lessens as new life experiences eventually become warm memories...

Warm, healing hugs,
EA

Full of melancholy, but a soft beautiful write.
