The Eye of I

How sees the eye of the I
Confusion or illusion
Is pain and fear the service here
Or the censures of touch and hear

And where lies the true of true
Is it out or within you?
The senses that move our bones
Are full of spirits undertones

I cannot judge a paradox
It be illusion or a pox
Nor can I say the day is day
For that I need a cast, in stay.

It covers me a shawl of mourn
Caressing me each early dawn
Placing me dimensions lie
Hanging an abyss of sigh

What e’er our fate we gravitate
The endless line of figure eight.

Everyone finds a special place
wherein resides a special grace
I find my own within your poem
when you welcome me into your home.

Thank you for making every day special, Sy.

Seymour...you give me so much to think about, so much that I find true.  And you have to know that figure eight image will not leave me.

Patricia,
As you know the figure eight is the symbol for infinity. Alive or not we seem to follow that path. LOL

Deep poetry always makes me hungry
When you put this poem on my plate
I ate it quickly,
and was sate...

But please do not refrain
From portions, more...

Because my mind is like the plant
And like it I implore....

"Feed me Seymour"

enjoyable read, as always
