Come to me
in winters absolution,
as crystalline tat
backlit by borrowed moon
drifts thick of winter white
beneath our step.

Walk with me
through moments content,
as hush of frosted lace
kisses upturned lash
melting reticence
to collect in desire.

Lie with me
bare of defense,
as restlessness is sated
feel my love search you
without need
to turn from the heat.

Whew is right!  I read this and shouted, "Wow, Duncan!" My kids have no idea why, and that is a good thing!  LOL

Beautiful and very, very...well you know.
The news said 45 degrees.  Huh...feels much warmer than that now!

I come back from a weekend away and look what I find! And so beautifully written...

I love this line..

"in winters absolution"

I will be back....

"if you won't let me fall for you
then you won't see the best that I would love to do for you"
