This poem is dedicated to a friend of mine.

There's a place in Canada
where I want to go...
A place I once called my home.

The place where I saw the first

snow fall.
The valleys and hills
I use to roam.

There's a place in Canada
where I want to go...
A place I call Lindsey.

Thanks Noah and Terri for the comments.
I wrote this for a friend of mine who use to live in Canada but now lives here in United States.

Home is different for us all.. and no matter how many new ones we have, every home has an imprint on our heart...
Lovely

Always, Alyssa

Hey mean and green. I like this. Don't know why...but I do! LOL!

O' Canada
Our home and native land,
True patriot love,
Is every son's command.
With glowing hearts'-
We see the rise,
Of the true North strong and free.
O' Canada,
We stand on guard,
We stand on guard for thee.
God keep our land,
Glorius and free,
O' Canada,
We stand on guard for thee.
O' Canada,
We stand on guard--for--thee!

Psst! Lindsay not Lindsey. Thank you my friend! This brought the images of home to mind.

Remember, if you're not part of the future, you're history!

Thank-you GG
Thank-you passing shadows
Thank-you EvocativeVerse2

As Dorothy from Wizard of Oz said
There's no place like home
There's no place like home.

Thank-you EvocativeVerse for correcting the mistake I made in Lindsay.

:-) Hugs to each of you
