Apologies.. to the author it is intended to mimic....
I saw the message light
Blinking its cycloptic eye at me
And knew better than to pick up
But, did in some perverse desire
To think it was from a friend
Telling me you had met an untimely end
That came not unlike the end of us

Your voice still cuts with each syllable
And while I no longer bleed
There is still the sting of slicing flesh
To remind me I am in part human

“Just wanted you to know I was alive”

then dial tone
which sounded so much more pleasant
as it raked across my ears like the drone
of distant hueys

Next time
Save me the bad news

(smiles) Oh Ron, this is beautiful, sweet friend, it is very haunting but you tackle a slice of life so well and top it with whipped cream! (big hugggssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ron, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

I love this cpat. I have no idea who it is...but I have not been around long enough to recognize everyone's unique styles yet. I read wranx's challenge...but I am not confident enough yet to attempt one myself...but I am enjoying reading everyone elses interpretations of their favorite writers.

Remember, if you're not part of the future, you're history!
