You stand before me
draining tears
of lost memories in sorrow--
never will there be tomorrow.

Rough like the waves
of ocean blue
Everything you won't forget
Let go of the memories--please release--
but don't remove me from your mind.

Your present days have grown much more,
more love, more places to adore
so please don't dwell upon the past--
It doesn't want to remember you at all...

An 'ouch' ending.
Letting go is harder than holding on.

Great rhythm, rhyme and symmetry break at the end.  It's as complex as its meanings.  Hope more to read like this in future posts.

A wonder of a write...

"Let go of the memories--please release--
but don't remove me from your mind."

This speaks volumes!

(big hugggsssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, I have had a rough past as a boy and though I don't forget what I've become, I try and put that behind me and embrace the future with replenished hope and faith! (sigh) This is excellent, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Misao, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
