Lead Me Bare

Randomly I think of you,
untitled poems to pause my blue.
I face the time in fantasies
as seasons mask the wake in me.

I set my days on love once known,
on morning tease in warmth that's grown.
Attention spanned to kiss each thought
and wrap around the feel of naught.

That tree's half gone, a gift of old.
Its branches held words treasured gold.
I watch the last leaves spinning 'round
the fall to quiet, silent ground.

Their many shades to cover all.
Their story blended by their call
of yellows, browns and heightened red.
A collage of colors in their stead.

A carpet laid to lead me bare
from teasing thoughts of season's ware.

M

It's so easy to get wrapped up in your thoughts,
they speak to me in such a way, do you have  any idea????
Thank you for gifting me with your sweet soul Maureen~

I like the entire piece ... but this shedding spoke to me~
How totally beautiful, my friend~

Indeed the mosaic of colors..muted in their lie becomes a carpet to the bare... but not to the bleak. The bleak is from inside of us and begs the fill or dreass of womthing warmer than the place our heart may be at the time...

well done M...
