Fill or Bust….

I am digging now, beneath my skin,
into the soul, beyond red, and bone,
Knowing that red is really blue, inside,

The white of me
Makes me say that.

I am this patriotic,

Yet cannot abide
Diatribes and falsities, yet as
I work day to day, when can I say
What I want to throw against
This filibuster, this blatant disregard
Of peoples’ rights, a public’s domain,
Of sound and upright consciousness
Of function disserving populace?

Some believe in filibusters,
Some see the good of it…
Others see the underlying fractions multiplying
And dividing any additional positives
We could give negatives…

Gee…

Did I just sound like a republican
Or democrat?

I do not capitalize the negatives….

Yes, Sy, I know...but some folks
want some common sense, and we don't
see enough of that these days...

except me.

Sometimes I find a LOT of common sense
where I WANT to look for it.
