In awe of thy name
the angels sing
the heavens cry for mercy
as for the crimson rain,
what was the cause of this?
Have they lost their dainty wings
or were they just alone?

As the crimson rain drips down on me
the sky is no longer a shade of blue
and the bloodstains of angels
on my shirt
begin to grow
more and more.
The white clouds depart--
the sky turns bright red--
the crimson rain drips upon my ballad,
with it still in my hand...

As I look up and see this red rain
it gently dribbles on my face--
I looked as if I were shedding tears of crimson
as the breeze just blew me away.

Could it all have been just a dream?

A very compelling dream, one that screams "understand what I'm trying to tell you!"  So many of us dream in color - while others only in film noir.  An excellent read.  Welcome to Passions!!!

Welcome to PIP misao . . .

(big hugggsssssssss) This is a powerful and heartaching debut, dearest friend, this reminded me so much of Peter Gabriel's "Red Rain" that touches on a similar theme, you've spoken of the anguish and the struggle for salvation so well! Welcome to Passions, sweet Misao, may you be inspired by all of us here as we will all be inspired by your lovely words! I can't wait to read more of your powerful poetry, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Misao, this is a wonderful first post. I really
enjoyed reading it. It kept me rushing to
see what was going to happen next...

(your Mom's poetry does me like that too.)

I'm really glad that you decided to join us here
at PIP. I can tell that you're going to like it.
Hugs to you
