where the wild flowers grow

0 posted 2003-11-07 08:54 PM

I have been devoured -
tortured by a kiss.

I don't hide the misery crackle of my bones,
twisting like thorned branches in my body.
Ignoring the music that feels so alone,
in the desolate august gale.

In passing, the sidewalks covered in mirrors,
speak to me in foreign dialect.
Words I know I'd soon forget,
as I've not enshrined the memory.

As you've said I've grown,
deeply rooted misconceptions have been made clear,
as if I am aware of the consequences of my own
lost words.. And I regret ever knowing...
that I've moaned the agony in tune, as
I was being double-crossed by twin midnights.

The world grows dark for split seconds this
evening is
absorbing me as our lips part like
opposite winds.

The difference is only this..

I'd prefer being devoured.

Fantastic!
This is the style that I would like to acheive, if I had more skill that is. I can relate to this sort of desire.
Keep writing! You keep me motivated.

Meg, we need to come up with a symbol for my complete wonder and love for what you write, because I am simply running out of words.

I'm with you. Don't take just a little of me either.

Finish me off and spit the bones, please.

Such a solitary walk through your mind that I felt an almost exquisite pain while reading in some places.

This is a keeper m'friend.
