Armor

The armor of my skin is thin
Though covered with the sage of age
Cacti and the prickly sin
Have pierced the woven of the cage.

I bleed the time of day by day
The flakes of skin that fall away
And I am dreary of the path
And weary of the aftermath

Hallelujah plays the air
I listen to the bells that ring
I hear the sounds of soothe, the prayer
And I would join within the sing.

But shadows hold my tongue in place
I fear I do not have the grace
And though I seek the Holy Grail
All I’ve seen is empty trail.

The omnibus of species goal
And fires of the human soul

sage of age...yes indeedy, quite brilliant
not to mention a great flow of fragrant oils and fruit...right from the words of one very wise and gentile who lives with Mary deep inside...and never even noticed....great big smiles and hugs my friend...you own the golden chalice!

Happy Friday and top of the morning

Perhaps the Holy Grail wears many cloaks - and we just need to recognize when it's right beside us... Lovely words, sweet Sy..

I love the way you switched off your rhyme scheme in this one Sy-babes...
and this line ....

Cacti and the prickly sin

is just too cool for school

Your rhymes are our morning holy grail

And one would read that one may heed
for it takes a good steed to ride to the deed...

Good morning, Sy...
You always inspire, don't you know?

Good morning, T-Man! This is your lucky day!

You say that your skin is thin, prickly, flaky, and covered with the sage of age...

Well I best get busy and make a powerful potion-lotion for your epidermis with my divine essential oils! Not only will you glow with a youthful complexion, you will attain the cannibus, I mean omnibus, for which this species searches!

As for the Holy Grail, once the fire in your belly has returned, I shall take you to it.
All that I ask for in return, is that you loosen your tongue and sing your soothing, prayerful songs.

So, up and at 'em, m'dear! We've got a busy day ahead of us!

(sigh) Just uncoil your tongue and when the silver can be seen side up, you will be able to identify on and on the Holy Grail's true appearance! (big hugggssssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, you are a knight who doesn't need armor, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
