It’s times like these,
when I fell all alone.
Won’t you please,
come take me home.

I can’t stand the sound,
when no one is near.
It seems I’m bound
to this type of fear.

Is someone, someone coming for me?
Oh, please can’t you set me free.
I’ve walked a long way
to find a brighter day,
but I guess this is “forever to be”.

Tears stream down my face,
as I sit in the cold.
Wish I was away from this place,
with someone to love and to hold.

I don’t know what to do
or where to go.
Cause I didn’t have you,
and I just didn’t know.

All scared and confused,
about everything.
Almost like I’ve been abused,
without even knowing.

Take me far away...

Cathie I have felt this same emotion many times.  You write of it very well.  I enjoyed this, thank you for sharing.
