If I knew then what I know now,
Life would be very different.
I would have lived for myself,
Letting no one else, influence my decisions.

But if this were true
Then who would I be?
Would I be happier with my life,
Or am I better off being me?

If there is one thing I have learned,
It is that what is done, is done.
Dwelling on mistakes from our past
Can make us miss the joy of what is yet to come.

Now I am certainly no expert,
But please believe me when I say,
The future will take care of itself,
So start living for today.
