You called my faith, rain soaked but stretching miles away
Ahhhh from the bones of ancient love sun rises over all
Melting any starvation, bathing daily in summer, feeling so
Full and content

I used to love what I could have not or understand…but dust has settled on
All false statement…clearing any prairie into lush mid-July

Oh the subtle turns and clumsy movements are such
Certainty of conversation blossoming, concerned with the other’s side
With tossing ideas like salad greens

Randomly selecting arrangement is an earth quaking collage
Where the epitome of loneliness is felt…like never before

But there is such a likelihood convening foaming, drawing really impressive
Feathers, versatile and wide-foreheads learn from each other,
Although mine, is not nearly as large as yours

Eye charts stretch into experiments with sound, scripts to read
Digital animations you draw believing in the anatomy of letters
And crawling out naked from under the great canopy of stars

Wearing a green vest, you tell me about Russian poets
We talk of reviews and giggle and I agree precisely on
Breakfast somewhere along the beach….after all…what else is there

Your picture I kept in my trunk for years…a fine portrait
Which oft I’d press against my breast, knowing your exact words

You are Christmas Day’s Gypsy and together we awaken from sleeping
Maneuvering and actually tempting craggy rocks
We pick green moist moss, like courtesy offered, you say “You must come with me!”
I blush
