more than this

~**~
    a release of horizon
in pastel color
winding through
trees,   bending
rivers  for that look
of glazed  stone
each time it
rains

would it be the touch
of your lips when I
sleep        a comfort I seek to know--

fragments  of  expressions
explaining any question
of love      any subject,   for how I feel

   when I draw you near

closer--it seems

I have invited

my self to taste

    silver drops of water
cascading down your back
--
brimming in passion
for the slightest feel

a ray of light
in morning      whispers
breaking through
virgin curtains
lighting your eyes
in my reflection

unsown  in a path
to the depths of my
heart          for one breath

of your touch

For Matthew--I still miss you
~**~

i carry your heart with me
i am never without it
you are what a moon has always meant sky of sky
the wonder that keeps stars apart-
e.e.cummings

You paint a beautiful rain of loss.
It does you good, to be able to write of it.
I'm proud of you.

Lauren this is such a stunning write...
I love the images and the colors you used to paint the heart touching emotions.
The love and devotion to this muse is palpable in this...it radiates from your exquisite words.

Words break into splinters on the pages I write
If I lost you I don't know what I'd do ...
Burn forever where the flame turns blue

Oh Lauren, this hurt. We are both missing today, it seems. I'm trying to figure out which is worse.....

Lauren,

I agree with Seymour. The next time it rains here Jax, I think about it somewhat differently than before. Images and thoughts abound.

Enjoyed!

love filters all things into goodness...acceptance, and the miracles which reach within...placing two within the closeness of each other, in reality, dreams, and greatness.

Lauren,  you write of a yearning with such
softness,  yet with such intensity,  hidden
within.  Very nice write.  I hope he reads
this....If were I,  I would be very pleased.
