Reality I ride a mare’s reality A playful little bitch Sheer conviviality And I cannot use a switch She takes me most for granted Good feature I would say Of course her views are slanted But she’d have no other way She takes me where I want to go Eventually of course For she would have no other beau And I’m her true love source Of course she has her little grump Her pick the size of pike And when she strikes me in the rump I have to scream out strike I guess realities not so bad For this old grump and sorry cad. |

She takes me where I want to go Eventually of course For she would have no other beau hang onto what ya got, cause if she's loyal caring...somewhat giving...she loves you...but more so, she respects herself... and all those good things will cascade down upon you, showering you with something you'll never find out there... Good read....Felt like that myself once...the part about never wanting another beau....but after seeing what I saw...I'm finally dating again....and it's nice to be treated kindly, with respect...to be listened to, I mean someone who really listens...someone who is himself...wears no mask...pretends to be someone he "thinks" I want or need. It is rather refreshing... as is your poem...I'm so happy you are contented and realize the treasure you have in your wife. In reality, my friend, this poem, makes it all worthwhile! You're not a grump and you're certainly not a cad ... and it's not you ... it's that Randy dragon being bad. Reality has its reasons and in the end they ring true ... I've seen you two together, the adoration shines on thru. She may bark, but you are still the spark in her eye ... in reality...who could resist the charms of Randy and Sy.
