The moon took on a new brightness The stars never twinkled so bright I never loved anyone so completely I don't remember when I lost sight Sunrises were dazzling each morning The rains never dampened my day Your world became mine so easily I got caught up in doing it your way The hours with you were enchanting For months you were all that I knew Each time I fell that much harder I lived each day only for you When did things become so cloudy The nights become dark and alone The emptiness all that I'm feeling You're here and then suddenly gone... |
