I Wish I Knew the Words To Say

I feel this feeling like my hearts just sunk.
Now I feel a feel of tears coming to my eyes.
Squeezing my eyes shut, and wiping tears away
I wish I knew what words to say.
Wanting to just sit next to you, quiet
Just soak in your presence next to me.
Feel your hand slip in mine not a word spoken.
When I think of this, comfort is what I know
It's the knowing you are there.
No words needed. No explanations
Just a knowing that you care.
No promises made
None required.
I wish I knew the words to say
to show how much you are admired.
Nothing else need be said
Just to sit next to you for a while
For this.
Just for this.
I would travel
endless miles.

Lovely lovely..such longing..
And at times words are not necessary are they?
Just to be near that special person...is enough.

When one is able to sit in companionable silence next to one whom they love, no words need to be spoken. This was such an achingly tender write, Terri.

~ Wishing true happiness for you, Dear Sharer of Roses,

I wish I knew the words to say how much I liked this, I feel this way very often and it was nice to know that I am not alone.

Thank you to all of you...

nakdthoughts- It's true. This is written in so many hearts. Getting it on the outside sometimes helps.

passingshadow--Thanks girlie..Hugs to you. Big ol'

edder--thank you for the read and comment.

Enchantress--So true. Just to feel his presence would be enough.

Margherita--feels safe that way.

Angelblueyes--Thank you. That was very sweet. I appreciate that.

Susan Caldwell--You got it. All of those. The touch. The scent of them. The touching of souls without a word spoken. They are out there. It's just finding them. Endless search 'til that one that is the one.

Earth angel--Thank you. It is an ache. Yes it is.

rambling_words--no you aren't alone.

Greeneyes--just feels like comfort.

Love,
Terri~

Terri, I love this.  Yes, just knowing someone is there next to you is enough at times.  Though quite difficult for a writer to admit...indeed, words do not express all.

Smiles and Hugs for you from me!

Thanks to you both...

James Micheal-- I appreciate your sentiments. That was very nice.

Patricia-- I know what you mean. It's not easy to say that sometimes when you don't know what the other would say.
Love,
Terri~
