Between the Lines

A caring message I received
while rewinding my senses trying
to bring them alive, on this
an unseasonably warm November morning.

Pressure builds up as time wears down
and I try so hard not to step on those cracks
that will bring me down even faster
than those wrong turns I continuously make.

I am that weeping willow of yesteryear.
The one whose branches drooped beyond healthy,
being eaten away by twists of nature.

I wish to express love and happiness
and all the fluff that others
in the poetry world think should be obsolete
but for me would bring the real back into my life.

I want to collect rainbows and sunsets
and catch dreams to dress my nakdthoughts
to feed me with tomorrows
to soak me in the warmth of vanilla
and to candle me with hope
to be seen through another's eyes
to know
and feel the knowing....

I wish for tears to taste sweet again
and my heart  to know peace
and to have a storyteller by my bed
with touching words to arrest the dark.

Yes, a caring message I received,
friendship's sharing, not often enough
but enough to release some aching
so that I may once again dance in the arms of my words...

I loved this. Filled with so much heart. Baring heart, and soul, and I really loved the mention of the storyteller. I have always dreamed of that. Just beautiful this is.
Love,
Terri~

and sometimes we just dream...

I will never take just what I can get...
I am selfish that way...I want the best for me, not to ever settle.

Thanks Dixie...

Love and happiness and all the fluff are far from obsloete. Be not discouraged by the naysayers.

WynterGal~
You know that the caring goes both ways~

You have sooooooo much to offer ... and you know that I know that~
AND ... I know that you know that when the time is right ...
and it will come ... you will know just what do do with your heart~

Wishing that you could make the time to come visit, yet knowing it can't be now ... but maybe when things lighten up a little for you?  Hey, that's gonna happen too !

Love you, my friend~
Thank you for being there for me too~
Means the world to me sweet lady~
